Dr. Dagmawi Alemnh is a highly esteemed figure in the field of Special Needs Education, known for his substantial expertise and impactful contributions. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Needs Education and subsequently pursued a Master’s degree from Addis Ababa University with a focus on Developmental Disorders. His academic journey culminated in a Ph.D. in Special Needs Education, specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder, showcasing his profound knowledge and dedication to this field. Dr. Dagmawi serves as an Assistant Professor in the Special Needs Education Department at Addis Ababa University, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the future generation of educators and professionals. Additionally, he holds the position of Project Manager for a notable initiative funded by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland in Ethiopia. In this role, he oversees vital projects aimed at improving educational and developmental outcomes.

Beyond his academic responsibilities, Dr. Dagmawi is a certified psychometric evaluation administrator, proficient in conducting a diverse range of developmental, educational, and psychological assessments for children and adolescents. His professional practice is characterized by a thorough approach to evaluation and an in-depth understanding of developmental and educational psychology. Dr. Dagmawi’s unwavering commitment to advancing the field is evident through his numerous publications in esteemed international journals. His research and scholarly contributions underscore his dedication to enriching knowledge and practices within special education and developmental disorders.
