Hermela Wubishet holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychiatry and has professional experience in both clinical and NGO settings. She specializes in child and adolescent mental health, with strong skills in assessing and supporting children with emotional, behavioral, developmental, and communication challenges. She works directly with children using evidence-based therapeutic approaches to improve emotional regulation, behavior management, social interaction, and speech–language development. Hermela is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at Addis Ababa University to further strengthen her expertise in child-focused therapy and mental health care.

Experienced in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various mental disorders, including childhood behavioral and emotional challenges. Served as the main psychiatric professional at Summit Health Center and worked as Head of a Rehabilitation Center, leading mental health rehabilitation programs and multidisciplinary teams.
